The Seventeen Bag, as the name suggests, was produced in a limited run of 17 from reclaimed, durable lace curtain offcuts found in South Africa, the designer’s home. The lace off cuts vary, ensuring that each piece one of a kind. Labelled “17” as a record of its production, each bag stands as a quiet refusal of traceless mass production.
